I was craving a waffle so took myself to brunch on a Saturday morning. The food is good; service is excellent and I didn't have a very long wait. My waffle arrived cold but it was delicious. This will be a regular spot for me.

Okay Yelpers! Back to First Watch this chill, damp Saturday morning, hankering for coffee and breakfast. Last minute decision, we failed to join the wait list, which found us in queue for 25 minutes. (Note to self: ALWAYS join the waitlist!! ) But no matter, our hippocampus was primed with memory of the delicious petit-déjeuner we previously shared. Marjan chose the classic breakfast, but for me, I chose new option: "Power Bowl" ! This is a bowl of quinoa, tomato, Italian sausage, mushers, a pair of basted eggs (steamed eggs) kale, strings of Parmesan, and a bit of dressing. Quinoa can be a bit bland, so salting and peppering, adding a bit of hot sauce (Marjan) really amped up the flavor. But in truth, the dish as served prevailed on its own merits. We enjoyed the dish, and i will definitely order on return. Marjan's classic was as expected: perfect for her hunger this morning. As usual, the staff, from hostess, to waitstaff (Robert) to support staff: welcoming and of good cheer!! Given the quality of foodstuffs paired with the staff, it is no wonder First Watch remains a popular breakfast stop! Enjoy Yelpers!!

First Watch is one of those brunch places that's quite predictable for a variety of reasons, and for that, we tend to visit it over other local brunch restaurants at times. While I wanted a skillet, I opted for something less oily and heavy. The BLT Egg Benny did the trick. While the eggs weren't as runny as I'd expect, it was still full of flavor. My family enjoyed their meals. We decided to split a stack of blueberry pancakes, and we learned that our stack was delivered to the wrong table. It took a while to actually get the pancakes, yet when they came, they contained the most and largest amount of blueberries I've seen in any pancake. My husband said the blueberry topping was good with the flapjacks. It was challenging to layer the butter since the pancakes broke apart early when we attempt to lift the top one to butter the bottom one. I was good with just butter and syrup. For all the time we waited to get them, they took them off our tab. If you plan to visit, make sure to check in via Yelp. That's saved us a wait every time.

Didn't grab a pic, but still wanted to say that this location has the BEST service. The food was delicious; I had the Eggs Benedict Florentine, coffee & the morning meditation. Everything was fresh & delicious. Our server provided excellent service (wish I grit her name), as did others there (maybe the busser). Only negative was that it was quite chilly in the restaurant & sitting next to the large glass windows, I was very cold. But, I won't hold that against them, it was a great experience!

Good food and fast service are very appreciated. Enjoyed my Morning Market Veg Omelet, with salad and toast ($12.99). Would have liked a bit more veggies, but portions were good. Airy and open place made for a comfortable meal.

First Watch is a great brunch and breakfast spot to meet with friends, family, or a date. I like to get the omelette and coffee. They serve it with potatoes. Service is excellent. Make sure you are patient because there is usually a line.

Weekday breakfast craving- power bowl quinoa - sub sausage with bacon, coffee and OJ. Hubs had the Monterrey Club with a toasted English muffin. My quinoa had perfectly cooked over easy eggs so that you can spread the runny yolk all over the Quinoa, kale, bacon, mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes- yum!

First Watch-1.6.24. 1/100 New Year...new menu items and countdown to Autumn because I'm going to miss that butternut squash soup I finally decided to try their Roast Beef & Havarti sandwich. I wasn't brave enough to order the whole thing, because it was new to me, so I ordered the half and a broccoli soup. This sandwich was incredible! I ordered it just as it comes: Roast beef, Horseradish Havarti cheese, house-roasted onions and tomato with lemon-dressed arugula on grilled Parmesan-crusted sourdough. Horseradish sauce on the side. Once I picked it up...I could not put it down. Actually I suggest not putting it down because it was kinda messy but in a good way Then it was all gone and I realized I hadn't even taken a photo...it was that good. I highly recommend it, and now I know why it's the most popular sandwich they make. Next time I'm getting the whole thing. So try something new for the new year! Thanks so much Rob for taking our orders and for the extra creamer for the coffee ~LindaD
